Established in July 2025 Oriel Dawn is a female founded and female run independent Gallery and Gift shop, where creativity and collaboration meet. Offering a welcoming and inclusive space for Welsh artists and makers to showcase their talents; and where art lovers can immerse themselves in a unique collection of art and handmade pieces through our independent high street gallery here in Conwy, North Wales.

 

Our independent gallery space in Conwy is located within the walls of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cowy Castle, Oriel Dawn can be found at 17 Bangor Road, next to Thomas Telford's Archway. Steeped in history, our independent gallery is housed in a lovely Grade II listed building, previously an Edwardian Butcher’s shop which was erected in 1909-1910. To this day, many of its original features remain, from the tiled walls, marble tops, to the tinkle of the original bell, that rings above the door as you walk in.
